Introduction to Soccer for Preschoolers
Overview
Irvington AYSO offers a gentle introduction to soccer for preschoolers.
The sessions are run by a soccer trainer who has experience introducing young
children to the joys of soccer. The emphasis is on fun and learning with
no formal teams, games or uniforms.
Eligibility
AYSO
rules permit us to offer this program to children with birthdates on or before
April 13th, 2008 for the spring 2013 season. Children born after this date
may be eligible for the fall season.
Dates
The
first session is April 14th and continues each Sunday that is not a holiday
(Mother's Day and Memorial Day Weekend)
Time
Sessions will be held on Sunday mornings at 8:30 am.
Location
Dows Lane School, Lower Field (South or left of school when entering from
parking lot)
Fee
Separate regisytations for fall and spring - $75 for each. (Fee includes AYSO
membership)
Equipment
No special equipment is required other than comfortable shorts
and athletic shoes. Soccer cleats can be used but are not required.
